Thaw Brawl Moves to Davenport to Kick off 2022 Mars Season

 

(November 15, 2021) LaSalle, IL – The officials of the Mars Racing Series are excited to announce the dates for the 2022 Thaw Brawl. The event previously held since its inception at LaSalle Speedway will move to Davenport Speedway in 2022 to kick off the Mars Racing Series season. The two-day show has been a staple in the Midwest over the past 11 years to kick off the race season for a lot of racers.

There will be a full program on preliminary night Friday March 25^th. On Saturday, March 26^th the weekend will come to an end with another full program that will showcase a big payday. Details on purse and format will be released in the days to come.

Tony Izzo Jr and team are excited to be able to put this deal together to kick off the upcoming Mars Racing Series season. “2022 is going to be bigger and better than the past couple seasons since I took over the Mars Series,� series owner Tony Izzo Jr states. “It’s always great to work with the Kay family and Davenport Speedway has become one of the best facilities in the Midwest. It is great to keep the Thaw Brawl event alive in 2022 at Davenport�

Series Director, Tyson Graves says, “I am excited to see us kick off the 2022 season with a big event at Davenport Speedway. This place has put on some great races over the past couple years including the photo finish back in July when we visited the quarter mile.�

More details about the 11^th Annual Thaw Brawl and the Mars 2022 schedule will be coming out soon as we plan for a big year in 2022.
