Thursday Portion of Mod Mania at Tri-City Speedway Canceled Due to Rain; Friday & Saturday on as Scheduled

FAIRBURY, IL (September 24, 2025) – With rain falling numerous times throughout the week, and more expected this afternoon, Tri-City Speedway and MARS Championship Tour officials have canceled the Thursday portion of the 21st annual Summit Racing Equipment Mod Mania. This extra day will allow track personnel to fully give competitors and fans optimal grounds for both pit parking and camping, plus an extra day to work the racetrack for racing on Friday and Saturday.

Friday and Saturday will all be complete shows for the MARS Modifieds paying $3,000-to-win / $250-to-start on Friday, and $5,000-to-win / $400-to-start on Saturday. Pre-race technical inspection for the MARS Modifieds will begin at 1:00 P.M. on Friday afternoon. With weather forecasted for high temperatures in the 70’s and zero chance of rain on Friday and Saturday, we expect a great turnout of teams for the weekend.
