MARS Championship Tour Visit to Quincy Raceways Postponed
FAIRBURY, IL (July 20, 2025) – With numerous rounds of rain throughout the week paired with additional rain this morning, and more projected this evening, tonight’s Gem City Jamboree Presented by Be Dry Roofing and Dennis Woodworth Attorney & Law has been postponed until Sunday, September 14.
The postponement of the Gem City Jamboree for the MARS Late Model Championship Powered by FK Rod Ends will now make it a triple-header paired with the Corn State Nationals at the Davenport Speedway in Davenport, Iowa on Friday & Saturday September 12 & 13. The MARS Modified Championship Powered by Summit Racing Equipment portion of the event has been canceled and will not be rescheduled due to the travel logistics for a single-night show with several teams having over a 6-hour trip one way. The MARS Modified Championship Powered by Summit Racing Equipment tour looks forward to returning to the speedway in 2026.
Action continues for the MARS Late Model Championship Powered by FK Rod Ends on Friday, August 8 with the Sycamore Showcase at the Sycamore Speedway in Sycamore, Illinois for a $5,000-to-win event. On Saturday night the tour will roll south to the Macon Speedway in Macon, Illinois for the 50-lap $10,000-to-win KerbyStrong event. The MARS Modified Championship Powered by Summit Racing Equipment will next be in action on Saturday, August 30 with the 2nd annual Illinois Dirt Shootout at the Fairbury Speedway paying $10,000-to-win for the MARS Modifieds.
