Mesilla Valley Transportation Joins MARS Championship Tours for 2025 Season

FAIRBURY, IL (March 11, 2025) – As the MARS season continues to draw closer, work behind the scenes continues to ramp up to make this year the best one yet. Series officials are excited to announce that Mesilla Valley Transportation has joined the MARS family as a partner for the 2025 season and beyond.

Mesilla Valley Transportation, headquartered in Las Cruces, New Mexico, is the safest and most professional transportation company in the Southwest. It began in 1982 as a small independent fleet in the Southwest and has now grown to the largest locally owned Truck Load carrier in the United States. Over 1,600 MVT trucks and 6,000+ trailers can now be seen servicing every state in the lower 48, Canada, and Mexico.

“Partnering with Royal and MVT is a huge step for the series” said MARS Series owner Matt Curl. “Royal is a huge supporter of all things motorsports, and we look forward to carrying his MVT branding on our series command center. With our partnership we hope to be able to raise awareness on how MVT values their drivers as their number one priority and is the absolute best trucking company to work for.”

Royal Jones, owner of Mesilla Valley Transportation, is a familiar name to many in the dirt racing world. He built the state-of-the-art Vado Speedway Park, located in Vado, New Mexico, that opened for operation in 2019. Since its inception, the speedway has hosted series and events such as the World of Outlaws Late Models, World of Outlaws Sprint Cars, High Limit Sprint Car Series, USRA Fall Nationals, and the Wild West Shootout. Before Vado, Jones operated the El Paso Speedway Park in El Paso, Texas and the Southern New Mexico Speedway in Las Cruces, New Mexico. Jones does plenty of racing himself whether it be in a Sprint Car or a Modified, at Vado, or other tracks in the surrounding area.

Ready to hit the road with a company that puts drivers first? Join the MVT family today! MVT offers regional routes to get drivers home regularly yet keep you moving! MVT offers weekly pay, benefits after 60 days, flexible home time, and so much more. Check out your path to a successful career at driveformvt.com.
