MARS Late Model Championship Powered by FK Rod Ends Chuckwagon Food Services 40 at Farmer City Raceway Canceled
FAIRBURY, IL (August 30, 2024) – Due to ongoing showers and thunderstorms at the speedway, and more expected throughout the evening, the MARS Late Model Championship Powered by FK Rod Ends Chuckwagon Food Services 40 scheduled for Friday, August 30 at Farmer City Raceway has been canceled.
Rain began to fall just as the drivers meeting completed on Friday evening, and with more expected over the course of the night, Farmer City Raceway and MARS officials mutually agreed that it is in the best interest to cancel this evening’s event. The series looks forward to returning to Farmer City Raceway in 2025.
MARS Late Model entry fees will be rolled over to tomorrow night’s event. Please hang on to your grandstand tickets and pit passes as they will be able to be used in 2025.
Attention now turns to tomorrow’s FALS Triple Down Shootout (August 31) at Fairbury Speedway for the MARS Late Model Championship Powered by FK Rod Ends and MARS Modified Championship Powered by Summit Racing Equipment. Catch both series in action on Sunday, September 1, at Spoon River Speedway for the Plowboy Nationals where both the MARS Late Models and MARS Modifieds will be racing for $5,000 to win.
