MARS Late Model Championship Powered by FK Rod Ends Scheduled for Sunday, April 28 at East Moline Speedway Postponed
FAIRBURY, IL (April 27) ICYMI: Unfortunately, the April 28, 2024 scheduled event at East Moline Speedway in East Moline, Illinois for the MARS Late Model Championship Powered by FK Rod Ends has been postponed.
Numerous showers have dampened the speedway over the past 48 hours with showers and thunderstorms expected over night tonight, through the day tomorrow. Track and series officials feel that this is the best decision for all parties including teams and fans with those circumstances coupled with the chance of severe storms tomorrow afternoon.
The first visit to the speedway for the MARS Late Model Championship Powered by FK Rod Ends will have to wait until the makeup date of Sunday, August 11. This will cap off a 3-day swing for the series as Friday, August 9 the series is scheduled for a $5,000-to-win event at Sycamore Speedway, followed by the $10,000-to-win KerbyStrong 100 at Macon Speedway on Saturday, August 10.
