Fairbury, Illinois (May 4, 2023) – With an 80-90% chance of showers and thunderstorms being projected for Friday and Friday night, the MARS Modified Championship Powered by Summit Racing Equipment event scheduled for May 5 at the Paducah International Raceway has been postponed. Forecasts have been monitored since late last weekend, and with all models consistently showing a high probability of rain, track and series officials have decided to make the tough decision with teams planning to make the trip from over 6 hours away in mind. Both parties are diligently searching through the jammed packed Midwest racing schedules to find a spot to make the event up in 2023.
The Saturday, May 6 event at the Red Hill Raceway in Sumner, IL is currently still on go. The MARS Modified Championship Powered by Summit Racing Equipment will be the headliner as drivers’ gun for the $2,000 top prize.
