MARS - Midwest Auto Racing Series

Mars Adds RPM TV as Streaming Partner at Select Events in 2021

(April 5, 2021) LaSalle, IL – The officials of the Mars Racing Series are excited to announce that RPM TV, a division of Racing Performance Media will be streaming select races during the 2021 race season. Racing Performance Media is already heavily involved with the media side of the Mars Racing Series and has recently expanded to be able to stream live events. The first event to be streamed will be the upcoming season opener at Peoria Speedway this weekend.

This weekend’s event will be the first pay-per-view event for RPM TV. They had a successful test of their setup last week during the practice for the Illini 100 at Farmer City. The positive feedback and fans asking for more in the future made the decision easier for the owners at Racing Performance Media to continue the next step in providing LIVE racing action to fans across the Midwest and beyond.

Mars Series Director and Racing Performance Media Co-Owner Tyson Graves says “We are extremely excited to start down this path of providing LIVE racing action to those who may not always be able to make it to the track. Our goal at Racing Performance Media is to help grow the sport and provide a place to stream those events that might not get the attention they deserve. To be able to stream a few events for a well-established series like the Mars Racing Series is an opportunity we had to capitalize on.

Series Owner Tony Izzo Jr, “We want all the great racing fans to be able to see all the exciting action of the Mars Racing Series every night whether they can or can’t be at the track. Some of our larger events we were able to secure streaming for but we wanted every event available to fans, so RPM TV stepped up and filled that void and I believe they will put out a quality stream that fans can follow along from home.

This weekend’s event Saturday April 10th at Peoria will be the first to be streamed. You can go to the www.racingperformancemedia.com website to pre-order your live event feed. The cost of the event will be $24.99, the same price as if you were to walk through the gate on Saturday night as a fan. The Live stream is set to begin around 5:45pm CT with hot laps beginning around 6pm CT.

The schedule for future streams is being finalized. Several Mars Racing Series events during the second half of May and later this year in August is being targeted at RPM TV events.

Racing Performance Media will also be an official B-Main sponsor throughout the season. Be on the lookout for Mars Racing Series LIVE action coming from a track near you!
