Mars Shifts April Event to May

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

The Mars Racing Series officials would like to give an update to the 2020 season schedule. The April 10th date scheduled at Peoria Speedway will be moved to May 16th. Brownstown Speedway and series officials have removed the event scheduled on May 16th to accommodate the changing schedule.

This will make it a three day race weekend in May. Friday, May 15th the series will race at Kankakee County Speedway, Saturday, May 16th at Peoria Speedway and the weekend will end on Sunday, May 17th at East Moline.

Series officials are continuing to work on a make up date for the season opening Thaw Brawl that was originally scheduled for this weekend March 27th-28th but was postponed due to restrictions from the Coronavirus pandemic.
