The pits filled up with 23 cars on the beautiful summer evening in the state of Iowa. In Allstar Performance qualifying it was McKay Wenger who laid down the quickest lap at 14.492 seconds. July 26, 2022 (Davenport, IA) The Mars Racing Series returned to the Davenport Speedway for the 2nd Annual Hoker 50 Tuesday night. The event paying $10,000 to win was a barn burner last year and drew a start studded field including Jonathan Davenport, Hudson O’Neal, Devin Moran, and many others.  In Allstar Performance qualifying it was Devin Moran who set a NEW track record with a lap at 13.333 seconds. FEGER RISING: Feger Holds Off Unzicker for Kimler Memorial Win

July 22, 2022 (Farmer City, IL) The 2022 Mars Racing Series kicked off the second half of the race season with the JR Kimler Memorial at Farmer City Raceway paying $3,000 to win.  The pits filled up with 19 cars on the warm summer night during the Dewitt County Fair. Heat Forces Postponement of Saturday’s Spoon River Event

July 21, 2022 (LaSalle, IL) With forecasted temperatures on Saturday around 100℉ and heat indices between 105℉ and 110℉, Spoon River Speedway officials have made the decision to postpone the 35th Annual Tom Knowles Memorial that included the Mars Racing Series $3,000 to win event. “The safety of our drivers, workers and fans alike is of utmost importance”, said SRS Promoter Brad Denney.
