2022 Championship Point Fund
The 2022 Mars Racing Series will have a point fund to the top five finishers in the year end point standings. The driver can earn the maximum of $20,000 for winning the season points championship. The 2022 point fund is based off 20 scheduled races completed. Point fund will be adjusted for every event cancellation. Drivers must compete in 100% of races completed to receive point fund money, however we will award 2 mulligans to any driver who cannot compete at two scheduled events due to family, work, personal reasons, car not ready etc. We will not award anyone mulligans to any driver that competes elsewhere on a scheduled Mars event. If a driver chooses to compete somewhere else on a scheduled Mars event, they will no longer be entitled to point fund money.
Money will only be distributed to the drivers that 100% compete and support the tracks and the Mars series.
Points will be tallied per the 2022 Mars/DIRTcar Rulebook here on our website.
