Republic, MO April 28, 2016 – The MARS DIRTcar Series will stick close to home this weekend with a pair of event in Missouri.
Friday April 29th will be the first race of the season for the MARS series at its home track, the Monett Speedway in Monett, MO. The 10th annual John Kuntz Memorial sponsored by Andy’s Frozen Custard will feature the best late model drivers in the Midwest looking for the $3000 top prize. Andy’s Frozen Custard will also be on hand giving out custard mini’s. Grandstand gates open at 5:30pm and hot laps at 7pm. Adult general admission is $20, Juniors 12-15 are $5 and kids 11 and under are free. Pit pass is $30. Support classes will be Bmods, Factory Stocks, Legends and Midwest Mods. Saturday April 30th the action will move east to Legit Speedway in West Plains, MO for another $3,000 top prize. Grandstand gates open at 5pm, hot laps set for 6:30pm. Adult admission is $20, Senior or Military is $15, Kids 6-12 are $15 and Kids 5 and under are free with an adult. Pit passes are $30. Also racing are Amod, Super Stock, Bmod, Hobby Stock and Bone.
