Monett, MO (September 4, 2011) – Wendell Wallace of Batesville, AR raced his way to victory Sunday evening at the Monett Speedway in Monett, MO for the 40th Annual 4-State Dirt Track Championships with the MARS DIRTcar Series. Wallace scored his second win of the 2011 season and his 28th career win with MARS. Wallace earned $4,000 for his efforts.
Jesse Stovall of Galena, MO finished second with Terry Phillips, Jeremy Payne both of Springfield, MO and MARS point leader Brad Looney of Republic, MO rounding out the top five.

The MARS Series will return to action on Saturday September 17th at the Springfield Raceway in Springfield, MO for the Larry Phillips Memorial.
