Rain Halts NCRA/MARS Event at the Salina High Banks Speedway

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE – Park City, Kansas – June 15, 2013 - With nearly thirty late models in the pit area persistent showers forced officials with the both the National Championship Racing Association of Park City, Kansas presented by Precise Racing Products and MARS DIRTcar late model series to cancel Saturday nights event atop the Salina High Banks Speedway in Salina, Oklahoma.

This event has been rescheduled for Saturday night, September 21st. Also added to the MARS schedule is a $3,000 to win race at Springfield Raceway in Springfield, MO on Thursday July 25th.

The next scheduled event for the NCRA late model division will be a three race swing taking place over the Independence Day Holiday weekend starting at Monett Speedway in Monett, Missouri on Wednesday night, July 3rd before heading to the home track of the series, 81 Speedway in Park City on Thursday night, July 4th. The weekend will come to a close on Friday night, July 6th atop the Belleville High Banks Speedway in Belleville, Kansas. Both the Monett and 81 Speedway shows will be co-sanctioned with the MARS DIRTcar series.

The next event for the MARS DIRTcar series will take place on June 28th at I-80 Speedway in Greenwood, Nebraska followed by a stop at Adams County Speedway in Corning, Iowa.
